What is radical acceptance? How can radical acceptance for ourselves and for others transform our learning spaces? How do restore a sense of agency and ownership for both students and facilitators alike?
In today’s episode, my guest in conversation is Sharon Koe. Our conversation here revolved around radical acceptance: what it means, how it applies to working with others in learning spaces, and how Sharon is working with radical acceptance in her work, which has been impacted significantly by the lockdown. Finally, we also discussed how systemic silencing impacts us on a somatic level. It was a rich and truly spiralic conversation full of metaphors.
Here's Sharon's bio: Sharon is an educator, passionate (sometimes to a fault!) to free minds (and bodies) out of fear, and make a-ha moments a common experience. These days she does that through Pilates, and also through written and spoken words - if you let her talk, she just keeps going. She owes a lot of her a-ha moments through her forever teacher and guide, the host of this podcast (aka Jonathan!) :)
